Hampton Inn Michigan Avenue

DETAILS:
The Chicago Motor Club building is widely regarded as one of Chicago’s finest Art Deco skyscrapers. Vacant since 2004, the 17-story building was extensively restored and reopened in 2015 as a hotel. Its interior has many original stylized Art Deco features—including a 29-foot-wide mural of early cross-country automobile highways and destinations designed by John Warner Norton. Hampton Inn's recent rejuvenation of the property includes the installation of a 1928 Ford Model A on the mezzanine level of the lobby.
